Rowan Timber has invested heavily in modern timber processing technology at our milling and treatment facility in Central Scotland. Our investment in state-of-the-art machining equipment, includes two hugely versatile CNC routers, moulding machines, beam saws and an edgebander.
The combination of top quality machining equipment and our experienced staff give us unrivalled ability to cut, shape, edge and trim the full range of timber. We can turn our bulk orders of flooring, skirting, dado rails, cill boards and other machine finished products and deliver them on a ‘just in time’ basis, to meet the demands of major corporate clients and national house builders.
We can offer the accuracy of precision machined components, cut and edged panels, edge profiled sheets or simply to cut components of a consistent high quality. The precision and accuracy this service delivers is particularly attractive to customers like kitchen manufacturers and specialist joinery firms who can reduce their cost base by entrusting these tasks to Rowan Timber.
We also offer a comprehensive wood treatment service using the VACSOL Aqua trademarked process, applied in a double vacuum low-pressure plant, to provide effective protection against fungal and insect attack. VACSOL Aqua treated timber used in Hazard Classes 1 and 2 applications are treated to a desired service life of 60 years.
